Taco Cat
WeHo Campus Director

"Camp embodies the wonderment and joy that makes childhood so special. It's place for adventure, trying new things, pushing the boundaries that help us grow and build lifelong friendships. As a kid, it was difficult for me to "come out of my shell", so I see camp as that constant encouragement to leave your shell, be silly and try new things without any fear of judgment or failure."

Taco Cat is a world-traveler, adventurer and writer from Washington State. She came out to Los Angeles for college and though she misses the rain, she's never missed it enough to pack up and move back. She loves crafting costumes, roller skating at the beach and struggling to cook her own meals. She has taught and developed curriculum for enrichment programs, covering everything from architecture to kickboxing at an elementary school level. She is a champion of games, both playing them and making them up on the spot and believes learning is best achieved while the imagination is active.

Pan Dulce
Campus Coordinator

"Camp has always been a bucket list dream of mine. I was not fortunate to go to camp as a kid but always dreamed about it! Camp Wildfolk is what my dreams are made of! Fun activities, water play, friendships that’ll last a life time, and traditions you’ll always remember. Now, as an adult I get to live that dream and help create the experience! It’s the best of both worlds!!"

Pan Dulce is born and raised in LA. She grew up in a culturally diverse household and has learned about many cultures through food and tradition. She’s had a lot of trials and tribulations to go through but ultimately landed on top and is going for her wildest dreams! She has a love for acting, baking, art, reading, and traveling the world. She has built her morals on vulnerability and lives her life judgment free and with open (but cautious) arms. She's worked with kids from ages 2 months to 15 years of age for about 7 years. She’s a free loving spirit living to make those around her feel safe, seen, and heard. She wears her heart on her sleeve and is ready for some fun at Camp Wildfolk!

Firecracker
Campus Coordinator

"I have always wanted to go to summer camp as a kid, but never had a chance. Now I am living vicariously through the Wildfolk campers and ensure they get the experience that young Firecracker would have wanted."

Firecracker is raised in Los Angeles, but her heart belongs in Disneyland. She has been part of whimsical world of Camp Wildfolk for 3 years. She is a first-time teacher, but she has 5 years experience as a tutor and teacher's assistant for many families and schools. On the weekends, she is a party planner/entertainer- helping at children's events, making balloon animals, face painting, setting up activities, and decorating venues.  Firecracker has picked a few new hobbies such as making facemasks, hiking up Griffith Observatory with her two dogs and making ceramic pottery.

Starfire
HQ Coordinator

"I love camp because it's fun! Camp is a wonderful experience and a way to make lifelong friends."

Starfire is a proud Los Angeleno native from  Mid-City. After high school, she pursued a degree in English and Spanish from Mount Saint Mary's University. While trying to figure out what she wanted to do career-wise, she worked for City Year LA, an education based non-profit dedicated to supporting high needs schools. At the end of Starfire's first summer at Camp Wildfolk in 2017, she got married, moved to San Diego, started a new job and began graduate school at the University of San Diego for her Master's in School Counseling and PPS Credential. (Yes, this all happened and in that order!)

Starfire currently works as a HS Counselor for LAUSD and is getting re-acquainted with LA again. For fun, she loves to catch up on television shows, take walks around her neighborhood and play with her furry cat.

Leo
Wildbunch PM Coordinator

"Camp for me growing up was an exciting experience. Every day, it was something new. I hope to help make that same environment for all future campers. It gave me friends, growth experiences, and ways to learn more about myself.

Leo is an enthusiastic and excited young professional. He has a background in digital marketing and photography. Leo is an Eagle Scout and loves to work with kids and families to help create a positive future for children! Leo has worked with kids from elementray to high school-age and hopes to continue to aid in growth for all of them. He hopes that his bubbly personality and positivity can create an inspiring environment for all, and is eager to be a positive role model!

Goldie Fox
Camp Owner

"Camp is an intentional space where the joy, freedom, and whimsy of childhood is celebrated. It's a place to take healthy risks and expand beyond your perceived limits. I've seen friendships blossom at camp with campers and staff alike that span years. It's a connected community of wild spirits & my personal happy place. Let's Get Wild!"

Goldie Fox is an LA native, in love with all things camp since 4 years old. She’s worked with youth for over 18 years- from C.I.T. to Social Worker, and loved no role as much as Camp Owner! Creating the magical world of Camp Wildfolk- with all our Wild campers, staff, & families is pure JOY! Goldie has an MSW, specializing in Children & Families, from UCLA (& did undergrad at UCSB). She’s also an American Camp Association Certified Camp Director. Woot! In her free time- when it exists- Goldie can be found having game nights, bakin’ up a storm, catching live music and comedy shows, crafting, and boogying down, whenever possible!

After looking inward and taking herself on a unique spiritual journey, the innate drive to help people became the purpose of inspiring change in the world, with art as her tool. Hygiea combines her background in film as a screenwriter and actor with modeling, special effects makeup, painting with a whole new awareness towards life, eager to pass on the knowledge with art that's out of this world.
