“Camp embodies the wonderment and joy that makes childhood so special. It's a place for adventure, trying new things, and pushing the boundaries that help us grow and build lifelong friendships. As a kid, it was difficult for me to ‘come out of my shell’, so I see camp as that constant encouragement to leave your shell, be silly and try new things without any fear of judgment or failure.”

Taco Cat is a world-traveler, writer and educator from Washington State. She came out to Los Angeles for college and though she misses the rain, she's never missed it enough to pack up and move back.

She has been working in early childhood care and education for 10+ years! During that time she has focused on teaching and developing curriculum for enrichment programs, covering everything from Lego Architecture to Kickboxing!

She is a champion of games, both playing them and making them up on the spot and believes learning is best achieved while the imagination is active.
