Summer Leadership Team (TLC)

Taco Cat
Site Director

"Camp embodies the wonderment and joy that makes childhood so special. It's place for adventure, trying new things, pushing the boundaries that help us grow and build lifelong friendships. As a kid, it was difficult for me to "come out of my shell", so I see camp as that constant encouragement to leave your shell, be silly and try new things without any fear of judgment or failure."

Taco Cat is a world-traveler, adventurer and writer from Washington State. She came out to Los Angeles for college and though she misses the rain, she's never missed it enough to pack up and move back. She loves crafting costumes, roller skating at the beach and struggling to cook her own meals. She has taught and developed curriculum for enrichment programs, covering everything from architecture to kickboxing at an elementary school level. She is a champion of games, both playing them and making them up on the spot and believes learning is best achieved while the imagination is active.
