"He’s doing great in TK. Camp Wildfolk was an amazing transition for him. He loved the camp. He taped his team photo to his wall and every morning asks when he can go back!”

Young Folks Teams

Our Young Folks camper teams

You will be emailed the weekend prior to camp with your child's Team assignment and Guides. Teams are typically 12-14 campers, with 2 Guides and 1-2 GITs. We keep intentionally small ratios to provide emotional support and be truly present to our kids.

Young Folks Teams have a 5:1ratio

A Balanced Day

Young Folks program is designed for campers to have a balanced experience..

We believe Wildfolk offers the best of both worlds...

A Homebase & Branching out, Structure & Choice, Indoor & Outdoor time, Active & Mellow time, Collaborative & Independent play, Guided/Focused & Explorative activities, High-tech & Cardboard, Comfort & Courage, etc

Old School Campy Fun

We hear from parents a lot that Wildfolk reminds them of the camps they went to as a kid

We infuse a lot of traditions and rituals from camps our staff attended as kids...Morning Ceremony with camp songs & team challenges, a huge Water Day that feels like backyard Hurricane Harbor, themed Funky FriYAY surprises that encompass the magic of summer, Where's Winston/Winnie Fox, Lip Sync Battles, etc

For Young Folks, our priority is creating a space that feels safe and cozy for them to fully ease into the camp experience.  While we bring them into the main camp for some structured activities, like Morning Ceremony, we are mindful not to overwhelm them.

They have their own eating area, playtime, etc.

Camp Wildfolk is what childhood summer joy should feel like- wild & free!

What Folks Are Sayin...

KaDee B.

The staff, the daily surprises...  so fantastic! This was such a wonderful experience for A.

The excitement for each day & experience of seeing him gain confidence in that environment of kids that were new & of all ages was very moving for us

I had 3 littles here (4 & 5), and this was their first experience with camp.

I was a little nervous cause they aren’t always the easiest with transitions, but they absolutely loved it from the first day!! The counselors were so engaging and warm, and every day they were so excited to share all the fun things they’d done that day.

“I have to tell you, she is hard to please and she looovved Wildfolk! She cried for hours on Friday that it was over…even though we have her scheduled for more.

Thanks for all you are doing for my first time camper.
